The project: creating branding and a full design campaign for a music festival in a melancholic style.
Course: 2nd year graphic design-visual communication, Ort Singalovsky Tel Aviv
The project was born following the events of October 7. which led to the outbreak of the “Iron Swords” war due to the terrible massacre by Hamas against the Jews.
The festival aims to deal with the rehabilitation, empowerment and growth of women.
who have lost their loved ones Believing that the mission is to give a platform to women who have experienced a deep loss of their loved ones and give a place to express their feelings, heal and find strength through music.
First step - logo design
The logo was created from a combination of the musical note Sol combined with a rose flower. Thinking that the letter symbolizes the nature of the project-music festival,and the rose symbolizes the new growth of the women.
In addition, there I chose to use the FB Afrika font Since it gives a spiky and moving look like the stem of a rose
Second step - choosing colors
The background chosen for the campaign is black with a subtle glitter effect over it In order to give a revival of a night festival
I chose to place the women’s characters in a black and white outfit that describes their lives today when they lost the most precious thing to them. And above their heads to place colorful elements expressing the future optimism and new growth in their lives despite all the difficulty.
Third step - designing an advertising campaign
